Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving made the most of his first start in the NBA All-Star game. Irving finished with 31 points and 14 assists to lead the Eastern conference to a 163-155 victory over the Western Conference. Irving was named the games Most Valuable Player.

Irving scored 24 of his 31 points in the second half. Irving is the first Cavalier to win All-Star Game MVP honors since LeBron James won the award back in 2008.
