Over the weekend, Grammy Winner Donnie McClurkin spontaneously called up Grammy nominated R&B artist Kelly Price to sing at the ‘Gospel Goes to Hollywood’ Pre-Oscar event.
Kelly Price and Donnie McClurkin ad-lib on the song “Better”- a song that was performed by rising family group, The Showers who were the musical guests for the event. The family group wowed the audience of who’s who in Hollywood.
“Better” was released to iTunes on Jan 28 and peaked in the Top 30 on the iTunes Christian/Gospel Top 100 Chart. RCA Inspiration recording artist, Deon Kipping wrote and produced the song. The Showers self-titled debut album is slated for release later this year.
