The Sax Man has been noticed by thousands of Clevelanders, and now Hollywood has taken notice, too. Screening of a documentary about his life is being shown during the Cleveland International Film Festival.
The Sax Man is Maurice Reedus, Jr.
Reedus is a popular fixture around Progressive Field and at Playhouse Square. He’s turned into an acoustic Cleveland icon and that ascent has captured the attention of Hollywood.

Joe Siebert directed a documentary about the high’s and lows of Reedus’ life; for instance, he is the son of a Grammy-award winning saxophone player.
Reedus tells 19 Action News he would welcome a chance to go back to his first love performing on stage, but for now his only stage is here on the streets of Cleveland.
