Voters will decide on many issues during Tuesday’s primary election, including whether to renew the existing sin tax on alcohol and cigarettes.
Approving the measure, also called Issue 7, would extend the tax for another 20 years and raise an estimated $270 million.
Also on the ballot is Issue 1, a proposed constitutional amendment that would allow the state to issue bonds or other obligations to finance public infrastructure improvements for local governments.
Several school levies will be left to a vote as well.
Polls will be open from 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
