It seems no one can get enough of “Johnny Football.” The NFL announced Monday that Johnny Manziel has the top selling jersey on NFLShop.com, during the first quarter of the league’s fiscal year.

Manziel’s No. 2 jersey topped Super Bowl-winning Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson who came in second, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick (third) and Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning (fourth).

Thanks to Manziel, the Browns are now the third-most popular team in the league from a merchandise standpoint.  They trail only the Super Bowl champion Seahawks and the San Francisco 49ers.

The Browns have only finished the season as the third-most popular team in merchandise sales. That was in 1999, when the team came back into the league.

Manziel’s jersey sales are also the highest ever for a Browns player since they started keeping track in 2001.  The previous high was in 2007 when former Browns quarterback Brady Quinn went into the season as the No. 2 best-selling jersey.
