Goodyear will christen its new longer and faster semi rigid airship, Wingfoot One, on Saturday, August 23rd.
Good Morning America host Robin Roberts has a family legacy with Akron and Goodyear. She will have the honor of christening the airship.
650 wristbands will be issued to the public starting next Friday, August 8th at 8 a.m.
“Those that are attending will have an opportunity to win a ride through a drawing that we are going to hold that day, you have to be here to actually win that ride and that ride will be sometime during the next year on this airship right behind me,” said Ed Ogden, Public Relations Manager for Goodyear.
