The family of Dallas nurse Amber Vinson has released an updated statement on her condition and says doctors “are no longer able to detect virus in her body.”

Vinson traveled to the Northeast Ohio area Oct. 10 to 13 before being diagnosed with Ebola Oct. 14.

A source told NBC news “blood tests returned negative for the virus.” The source who has knowledge of her case also says that doesn’t “mean that Amber Vinson, 29, is leaving Emory University Hospital in Atlanta anytime soon.”

She helped care for Thomas Eric Duncan, the first person in the United States diagnosed with Ebola, before his death.

The statement was released through Steven Jumper, who NBC and WKYC sources confirm is a family spokesman.

Jumper also released a new photo of Amber, which he says was taken in her hospital room in Atlanta, Wednesday evening.
