Snow will continue through the morning hours making the rush hour slower than normal.

The National Weather Services says a deep trough aloft and an Arctic cold front will sweep across the area Monday. Unseasonably cold air will move in Monday night and Tuesday and then another trough will be in the area for the end of the work week.

Lows Monday night will be in the teens and highs Tuesday only in the 20s. Gusty winds will also add to the frigid wind chills.

Most of the viewing area is likely to see 2″ to 5″ of snow. Channel 3 News Today will begin extra early at 4 a.m. Monday morning to bring you the latest on road conditions as the commute could be tricky.
