Let the speculation begin…
As Cedar Point crews work to convert the stand-up Mantis roller coaster into the sit-down, floorless Rougarou, something else is happening just a short walk up the Midway.
Cedar Point’s Tony Clark revealed on the park’s “OnPoint” blog that the Good Time Theatre will be demolished.
“We can’t tell you all the details, but we’ll need that space for future expansion,” Clark writes. “Originally opened in 1975 as the Cedar Point Cinema featuringIMAX movies, it was converted into the Good Tim Theatre in 2002 with the debut of ‘Snoopy Rocks! On Ice.'”As a result, Clark says the ice-skating shows have come to an end. He vows more entertainment will be available in 2015, but information won’t be released until a later date.
