So it’s Thanksgiving, your family and friends come to town.  You guys have a great time.  The food was delicious and now the thought is… let’s go shopping!

Sales seem to be in abundance as shoppers are bombarded by advertisements from large retailers about Black Friday.

Also on the radar is Cyber Monday, when consumers who would rather fill their carts from the comfort of their couch, take to the web for some of the best savings of the year.

But in between the two deal buster dates is Small Business Saturday, which is all about celebrating the personal service given by small business owners.

It’s a day when local customers spend their hard earned dollars with local stores.

Shoppers will focus on exactly what the day is about— shopping small and not at the mall.

So this weekend don’t just drive past that cute little boutique or quaint coffee shop, go in and support the little guys.
