Four suspects are now in custody in connection with the attack of a bus driver, according to RTA Transit Police.

The bus driver was attacked with a sock filled with rocks  early Sunday morning at East 40th and Community College Avenue .

Two passengers boarded the bus and paid their fare. After they boarded, a male wearing a black hoodie stepped behind the passengers and begin swinging the long socks filled with rocks at the driver.

One of the suspects in the video appears to hit the driver a few times from the doorway of the bus and then swings the sock at a passenger.

A second suspect then attempts to throw some sort of powder at the bus driver before running off with the first attacker and two teen boys who were on the street outside the bus with them.

The bus driver contacted  the control center at 12:41 a.m. and Transit Police arrived on the scene at about 12:50 a.m.

The injured driver was taken to St. Vincent Charity Hospital, where she was treated and released.
