The holidays are going to be a little tougher for Kathy in Cuyahoga Falls.
“My husband is on disability, I’ve been laid off six weeks ago, so this would’ve been something good to have. A bill paid,” she said Saturday afternoon.
Kathy sells items on eBay, like a 1930s antique lamp, and ships them out to buyers for extra cash.
On Tuesday, she set her package out on her porch to be picked up as usual, only to have it disappear.
“The mail lady came and said, ‘Where’s the package?’ and we noticed it was gone,” Kathy said. “She said it happened a couple streets up also.”
Kathy said she later found the box that contained the lamp in her backyard trash can, no lamp to be found.
