GETTY(EEW Magazine) Erica Atkins-Campbell, Michelle Williams, and Gladys Knight are among the African-American Christian women nominees for the 46th annual NAACP Image Awards, announced Tuesday.

They are competing in the “Outstanding Gospel Album (Traditional or Contemporary)” category.

The nominations are as follows:

“Duets” – Donnie McClurkin (RCA Inspiration)

“Help” – Erica Campbell (My Block Inc./eOne Music)

“I Will Trust” – Fred Hammond (RCA Inspiration)

“Where My Heart Belongs” – Gladys Knight (Shadow Mountain Records)

“Journey To Freedom” – Michelle Williams (eOne Music)

Atkins-Campbell has much to celebrate, as she has also landed in the “Outstanding New Artist” category alongside fellow gospel artists Marvin, BeBe, and Carvin Winans (3 Winans Brothers).

The 46th annual NAACP Image Awards will take place on Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, with the show set to air live on TV One.

The NAACP Image Awards honors the accomplishments of people of color in TV, music, literature and film as well as those who promote social justice through creative endeavors. Winners will be voted upon by NAACP members.
