WKYC has confirmed that White Castle, which is based in Ohio, will be permanently closing several of its restaurants locally on Christmas Eve.
Among the White Castle locations closing include:
– 5151 Pearl Road in Cleveland
– 3255 W. 117th Street in Cleveland
– 5095 Northfield Road in Bedford Heights
– 13201 Superior Avenue in East Cleveland
– 2900 South Arlington Road in Akron
The first White Castle opened in 1921 and sparked a series of comedies about craving the fast food: “Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle.”
