Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel said he apologizes to teammates and fans for continuing to be an off the field distraction.
Manziel was fined by the Browns after missing a medical treatment on Saturday because he said he “overslept” after going out with three friends from Texas.
Manziel said he did not “100 percent” throw a party Friday night as was reported by some national media outlets over the weekend.
Manziel said he saw Browns receiver Josh Gordon earlier in the day on Friday, but said he was not out with Gordon Friday night.
Gordon was suspended for Sunday’s game after missing a team walk through Saturday.
