Move over Times Square. Northeast Ohio is getting ready to ring in the new year Cleveland style on Mall B.
Rock The House crews were busy all day Tuesday setting up the entertainment stages for the event, which is expected to draw 20,000 people into downtown Cleveland.
“It’s going to be a very safe, family friendly event,” John Gadd, the event’s co-chairman said.
The gate opens at 8 p.m. and the entertainment starts at 9 p.m.
In addition to music, there will be food trucks, a beer garden, the countdown and fireworks.
Gadd said organizers have been working with Cleveland Police, Homeland Security and the FBI to make sure everyone is safe.
