Two New York City police officers were shot late Monday night in the Bronx, the department said. Both are expected to survive.

The officers were responding to a robbery call at a store. They had a description of a car, and when they went to pull it over, they were shot: one in the elbow, the other in the back, police said.

Police are looking for two suspects, at least one of whom may have suffered a gunshot wound when officers fired back.

A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the shooters.
