Cleveland Police have a person of interest in the murder of Aliza Sherman, a crime that has gone unsolved for nearly two years, sources tell newsnet5.com.

Aliza Sherman was stabbed to death  outside her attorney’s office in the Galleria downtown just two days before her divorce trial was scheduled to begin.

“I’m so happy that something is happening,” said Maria Zoul, a close friend of Sherman. “We’re going to get justice. I know we’re going to get justice.”

No arrests have been made in her murder, and her family and friends have rallied for police to find her killer.  In fact, the $50,000 reward offered for information leading to her killer is still the largest in Cuyahoga County’s history.
