The bust of a late Cleveland councilwoman was found after being reported missing Saturday night.

Cleveland police said the commemorative bust of Fannie Lewis was taken from League Park on Lexington Avenue. But Monday morning, police learned the sculpture was actually being repaired.

Contractors removed the bust and its base on Saturday when they realized the weather would interfere with their work, police said. It was taken to Milano Monuments.

League Park has been home to Lewis’ bust since June.
