Ever since the snow storm last week, residents in the Hough neighborhood in Cleveland have been complaining about lousy snow removal by the City of Cleveland.
Today when Channel 3 returned to East 81st street near Chester, the pavement was still iced up. When residents learned that City Streets Commissioner Rob Mavec was being demoted, many said they were not surprised.
Sherria Blair told Channel 3’s Mike O’Mara, “it’s just horrible. They need to get it together fast.” Resident Chris Trayler shook his head and said, “They just need to do a better job, this is terrible. People sliding all over the place and look at the build ups. You could tell nothing major has been done to this street.”
