A night of musical fame and fortune hits Cleveland in April as the 30th Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony rolls into town.
The 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee exhibit opens one week before the Induction Ceremony on Celebration Day. It is day you do not have to pay to get into the Rock Hall.
“Ringo and Bill Withers, and Joan Jett,” said Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Associate Curator Meredith Rutledge-Borger.
This year, eight are joining a list of 304 inductees.
“We are honoring some of the best artists in the history of Rock and Roll music,” Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Director of Education Jason Hanley.
For the fourth year, Cleveland gets to honor those artists.
“I always love when you have all the artists coming into town and the entire city gets energized,” said Hanley.
Rock Week builds the energy beginning on April 11th.
