“Jesus asks us to take up our cross and follow Him, no exceptions,” said David Bennett. “The question we each must answer is, ‘To who or what am I going to die or suffer?'”

The Lord and His purposes are perfect, and we must realize that we are not. We sometimes fill our heads with doubt during our busy lives, and it keeps us from living out the purposes that He has established for us. The Bible insures us that the Lord has created us and given us all a purpose.

Once God has established His purpose for us in life, no one can do anything to change that. Sometimes we get so busy and wrapped up in our lives that we forget the purpose behind them. We are driven by demands in our lives and forget that God always has a greater purpose. His purposes not only encompass our lives, but all the lives around us. Whether it be at home, school, work, neighborhood, and community. We can always look to God’s word for guidance.
