Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love is officially done for the season after undergoing surgery to repair his injured shoulder.
Love dislocated his left shoulder after getting tangled up with Boston Celtics forward Kelly Olynyk in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference Playoff series.
Following the play, Love immediately grabbed his left shoulder and sprinted to the locker room.
Olynyk has been suspended one game in the upcoming season for the play.
Love was averaging 18.3 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists per game in the playoffs before the injury.
Love’s recovery time is expected to take 4 to 6 months.
