Cleveland Cavaliers Center Kendrick Perkins was questioned by police Wednesday.

According to a police report the 30-year old was arguing with his wife, Vanity Perkins, on the side of the road in Westlake when someone called 911.

The caller claimed the woman was hitting Perkins but when police arrived, both Perkins and Vanity said there was nothing physical and it was only a verbal altercation.

The police report will be reviewed by the Westlake City Prosecutor who will determine if anyone will be charged. No one reported any injuries and no one was arrested.

Police took Kendrick home while his wife left in their car.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have released a statement saying the organization is “still looking into it.”

Perkins, who played for the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder, signed with the Cavs in February of this year.
