The future of Edgewater Park (Source: Cleveland Metroparks)

Big plans are in the works for Edgewater Park in Cleveland.

More than 100 people attended an informational meeting at Louisa May Alcott School Thursday to learn more about renovations at the park and more.

Lisa Martin works in the area and says she’s anxious to see the construction.

“Amazing. I’m really excited about everything,” says Martin.

Her boss is also looking forward to the changes, hoping it brings more people to his restaurant, Tick Tock Tavern on Clifton Boulevard.

“More money which is more tax money for the city,” says Chris Tripodis.

Cleveland Metroparks announced plans for a 12,000 square foot, two-story beach house with a casual eatery and access from West 76th Street to Edgewater.

Sean McDermott is the Chief Planning and Design Officer for Metroparks.
