GRAMMY® award-winning gospel artist Erica Campbell grew up in the church, but she certainly wasn’t perfect all her life.

The “I Luh God” singer admits that she “made some wrong decisions,” specifically having premarital sex, which she later regretted.

In a recent interview with CNikky.com, the 43-year-old wife and mother of three offered advice to singles, hoping to steer them away from fornication.

We’re creating soul ties by sleeping with everybody, anybody [and saying] ‘I do what I want girl. I do me. I’m living my life.’ But you’re not creating long-standing relationships,” Erica said.

“You’re not creating what God designed it to be. It’s like you have the act without the affection.”

Recently, the first lady of California Worship Center hosted her first “More Than Pretty” event in Los Angeles, which made sexuality and Christianity a topic of focus.

Among her guest panelists were married couple DeVon Franklin and Meagan Good, who successfully remained abstinent until marriage, though neither were virgins.
