People rallied on Cleveland’s east side Wednesday evening to refocus attention on an unsolved murder.

18 months ago – Stephen Halton Jr. was gunned down while waiting for a bus to take him to work.

Crimestoppers just announced the reward for information in his murder has been increased to $20,000.

The 30-year-old left behind a wife and two young children when he was killed in January 2014 at Lakeshore Boulevard and Grovewood.

Halton was an anesthesia technician at the Cleveland Clinic, headed to work in the middle of the night to assist with a liver transplant when he was killed.

Those who knew and loved Stephen walked together Wednesday evening and handed out flyers with information.
