Hallelujer! Madea will make an appearance at Bishop T.D. Jakes MegaFest in Dallas this year.
Tyler Perry’s “Madea on the Run,” a new stage play that has been cracking audiences up since it hit the road in March, is the newest addition to Jakes’ five-day summer festival August 19-23.
“Madea always makes us all laugh while teaching valuable lessons that we remember long afterwards,” Bishop T.D. Jakes said in an official press statement.
In 2013, Perry’s attendance at MegaFest made national headlines after he laid hands on the Potter’s House pastor and donated $1 million toward the ministry’s effort to build a state-of-the-art youth center.
