Some folks have been camped out all day. The festivities began at 6 p.m. with food trucks on West Mall Avenue.
This is the first year it has been held at Mall B. For the last several years, the free event has been held in Public Square.
“We wanted to keep it as close to Public Square as we possibly could because everyone is used to coming downtown,” said Julie Kim, Director of Operations. “That way people can still utilize RTA and still come to Tower City and walk over.”
