Ty, the company that brought you Beanie Babies, is producing a Cecil the Lion plush in memory of the famous lion recently killed in Zimbabwe.

The profits will benefit the Wildlife Conservation Research Unit of the University of Oxford, which tracked the lion since 2008. .

The company says they hope the Beanie Baby will “raise awareness for animal conservation.”

Cecil was a famous attraction at the Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe.

He was killed in July by an American dentist during an alleged illegal hunt. The Zimbabwe Conservation Task force said Cecil was lured out of the safety of the park.
