There’s a lot on the menu for Cleveland, less than two days out from the first GOP candidate debate.

A convention party five-times this size set to take center stage at Quicken Loans Arena in 11 months.

It’s an unmistakable energy, a long time coming, for this city on the rise.

Flashback to 1936, when the Republican Convention came to Cleveland. The nostalgic pictures still hang in the historic Arcade on Euclid.

Today, it’s home to the Hyatt hotel, booked solid with more Republicans on the way.

All of the rooms at the Ritz-Carlton Cleveland are spoken for, as well for the rest of the week, as this city sets up for the national stage.
