GETTY:

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 22-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston and R&B singer Bobby Brown, died Sunday, July 26 at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia.

Less than a week after her funeral, a photo taken during her final days has emerged in a tabloid and the family is outraged. Here are five things you need to know about this incident.

1. The National Enquirer published the photo. One of the last known photos of an unconscious Bobbi Kristina lying in bed at Peachtree Christian Hospice center in Georgia is featured on the cover of the tabloid.

2. The families are livid. A source close to the family has told media that both the Brown and Houston families are deeply disturbed, angry and emotionally distraught over the photo leak during this painful time of mourning.

3. The image was auctioned off for more than $100,000. Whoever sold the snap enjoyed a great big payday. The Enquirer, which thrives off of publishing sensational headlines and stories, gladly handed over the hefty sum for the rights to the image. Gossip website TMZ was reportedly offered the same photo, but declined to publish it out of respect to the family.
