It’s back to business at the City Tap restaurant, which anchors the Finance Building in downtown Cleveland.
On Saturday evening, a fire ripped through a penthouse apartment and shot through the roof of the refurbished building on Prospect Avenue and Huron Road.
It’s a stone’s throw from Quicken Loans Arena and Progressive Field, and it is in close proximity to other major structures.
Yet, the building has no sprinklers, because it was grandfathered in before modern fire codes were put in place.
When the Finance Building caught fire, the flames could be seen for miles.
