The amount of devotion, dedication and hard work that it takes to submit to Jesus Christ and follow his will is the same amount devotion, dedication and hard work that it will take to make a relationship or marriage work. It is the continuous exercise of denying oneself and following the Lord. It is in your best interest to practice now while you are single. Once you are in a relationship you’ll have to deny yourself for your mate. What makes that difficult is that you are two imperfect people who will struggle daily to with the act to place another person before yourself. But isn’t that how Christ loved us, didn’t he put us first? Yes he did.
That’s our tip of the day. Our goal is to Love Like Christ, for we know that Christ is the true example of Love and we want to be like Him.
