Shana Joseph is a powerful evangelist today. But years ago, her life seemed destined to end in destruction.
At five years old, she was taken away from her mother, along with four other siblings and put in a foster home.
“We weren’t allowed to eat at the table. We had to stand in the corner and eat bones. They didn’t give us food like they gave the other children,” she said in an interview with CBN’s “The 700 Club.”
Due to the harsh mistreatment, the neglect and the gaping void left by an absent mother, Shana grew angry and violent. “I was getting into a lot of fights,” she said. “A lot of it had to do with the fact that I missed my family.”
