A deadly night in Cleveland started Saturday night at 10 p.m. on Edgewood Avenue near E. 140th Street where a shooting left one man in stable condition the other in critical.

Fast forward four hours to Euclid St. when the clubs are letting out. Someone fires into a crowd fatally shooting one person in the head and injuring two others with bullets in the leg.

Just after 2 a.m., the suspect fired into a crowd near 322 Euclid Avenue and East 4th Street.

A man, who suffered a gunshot wound to the head, was pronounced dead at MetroHealth Medical Center.

Two others, a female with a gunshot wound to the leg and a male with a gunshot wound to the calf, are still at the hospital. Their condition is not known.

Fast forward, this time just 30 minutes.

“I just got in the bed and heard the shots,” said Way Avenue resident Charles Brown. “I didn’t want to get up and go look.”
