This past summer, New Orleans was the host city for the 2015 Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International Conference. This year’s conference was particularly significant with the announcement of Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr. officially retiring in his role as overseer of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship.

Headlining this historic occasion were such prominent figures asBishop TD Jakes, Bishop Noel Jones and Bishop Charles Blake all in attendance. A White Tie Gala hosted by David & Tamela Manncelebrated the remarkable life of the Bishop Morton and a concert recording underscored the musical contribution he’s made to the fellowship of believers for decades.

Paul S. Morton, Sr. is arguably the most popular recorded bishop in Gospel music history with over 12 albums to his name and a solid reputation as a preacher who can sing for days…but his greatest contribution to the work of the Lord will ultimately be in his capacity and title as bishop for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship he founded back in 1994.
