Temple University trustees are expected to vote next week on naming NBC correspondent Tamron Hall to fill a seat on the board vacated by Bill Cosby last year.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that board chairman Patrick O’Connor said the 1992 Temple grad has the support she needs for approval. Trustees are to vote Tuesday.

He called Hall a “vibrant, loyal alum” who will add “a new dimension” to the 36-member board.

Hall grew up in Texas and joined NBC in 2007. She currently hosts an hour of the “Today” show.

In a story in the school’s magazine, she says Temple “gave me my confidence.”
