Grammy Award-winning gospel artist Tasha Cobbs has another award to add to her growing collection.

The 34-year-old was named “Gospel Artist of the Year”—an honor which, she says, makes her feel humbled.

While such a distinction might inflate the ego of some, Cobbs explained how it impacts her at the 46th annual Gospel Music Association Dove Awards in Nashville at David Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena.

“Every time someone acknowledges what I do to glorify God, it has a reverse effect. It humbles you,” she said
