Dozens of Cleveland parents appeared before a judge because their kids broke the law, but they are paying the price.

“This was at 11 a.m. on nine-28?,” Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Lauren Moore asks one of the parents appearing before her at the Jane Addams High School cafeteria. Eighty parents were summoned for arraignment.

All were charged with a curfew law violation because their child was stopped by police during school hours.

“I think this is a good thing for them more so than for me because I’m responsible. I take care of my responsibilities, so I just want to keep my son on the right track so he can be a productive member of society and be a great person,”  said mother Brandy Berry.
