“Preachers of LA,” the reality show T.D. Jakes calls junk and Kirk Franklin says he hates, catches a lot of flak for the behavior of its cast members. But not everyone disapproves.
Rapper and actress Da Brat told Deitrick Haddon, one of the most controversial of the docu-series’ stars, that she’s a huge fan.
“You’re kind of like my favorite on the show,” said the lyricist, real name Shawntae Harris.
Da Brat’s warm words were uttered duringt he 41-year-old’s appearance on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show. He is currently promoting his Billboard chart-topping new album, Masterpiece.
“I just didn’t want to seem like a groupie,” continued Da Brat, explaining why she didn’t reveal her affection for Haddon sooner.
“Preachers of LA” gives a closer look at the life of popular preachers, revealing their opulent lifestyles, as well as their flaws.
