The young teen sensation Jekalyn Carr, has been nominated for 3 Stellar Awards for 2015. This is another great accomplishment to be added to her young vibrant career as an artist. The categories that Jekalyn Carr have been nominated for are Category #4 The Albertina Walker Award, Category #15 Traditional Female Vocal Of The Year and Category #17 and Traditional CD Of The Year.
The burgeoning success of Jekalyn is a classic example of what you can do, no matter how old you are. She received her first Stellar, at the age of sixteen and now at the age of eighteen, she is nominated again for three more awards. Jekalyn’s says “This has been a great experience and journey for me!”
Less than a month ago, she did her first live recording, which many are calling simply impeccable. There’s a lot of great expectancy from her new album entitled “The Life Project” in 2016. This new project has already intrigued many from that night, including song titles, “You’re Bigger”, “You Are My Joy”, and “You Spoke Over Me” just to name a few.
