A body of believers is fighting for their right to worship Jesus without being harassed by authorities and neighbors

According to Charisma News, things got so bad, the pastor had to stop using a microphone to preach.

“It’s been difficult,” said Pastor Rob Wilton, who has been dealing with weekly drop-ins from authorities. “We have been consistently hassled by our neighbors and by the parish officials since the first of August—every single week.”

The issue first arose when the evangelical assembly secured a license to have two outdoor Sunday services in an enclosed tent while planning to expand its existing sanctuary within a subdivision. But on Aug. 9, a complaint from a neighbor about the worshipers’ rowdiness set off a negative chain of events.
