The National Weather Service has issued a LAKE EFFECT SNOW ADVISORY starting Friday at 4 pm for Lake and Ashtabula Counties.

* Timing…Lake effect snow is expected to form Friday late afternoon and continue through Friday night and Saturday. The snow is expected to end Saturday night.

* Snow accumulations…4 to 6 inches possible.

* Impacts…Snow will accumulate rapidly where lake effect snow bands persist. Visibility will be sharply reduced and untreated surfaces will quickly become snow covered and slippery.
