Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James turns 31 years old on Dec. 30!
The Cavaliers star had a busy year on and off the court.
Take a look at some of his accomplishments throughout the past year:
February 2015: Already the youngest forward in NBA history to have 6,000 career assists, James passed Chicago Bulls legend and Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen for the most assists by a forward.
March 2015: James was awarded the H. Peter Burg Award for leadership, inspiring youth and philanthropic efforts during the Greater Akron Chamber’s annual meeting.
June 2015: The Cleveland Cavaliers made it to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2007.
July 2015: James starred in the movie “Trainwreck” and hosted a private screening of the movie in Akron.
July 2015: Warner Bros. and James announced a partnership that will include projects for television, film and digital content.
August 2015: The LeBron James Family Foundation partnered with the University of Akron to provide four-year scholarships to the university for students in his “I Promise” program who qualify.
September 2015: The LeBron James Family Foundation partnered with Project Learn of Summit County to help local parents earn their high school GED credits.
