Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was ticketed by North Olmsted Police on Saturday morning, WKYC Channel 3 has learned.

In a copy of the docket obtained by Channel 3, Manziel was ticketed for having expired plates or sticker on his vehicle in the Cleveland suburb of North Olmsted at 8:28 a.m. Saturday morning. If Manziel chooses to the pay the $125.00 ticket and waive the case, he would not have to appear in North Olmsted Mayor’s Court later this month.

The timing of the ticket could call into question reports that Manziel was in Las Vegas under disguise while still in the NFL Concussion Protocol.

According to multiple reports, Manziel disguised himself and went by the name, “Billy,” while trying to remain anonymous during a trip to a casino, and the constant headlines of his partying prompted worry from his now former business associate LeBron James, whose marketing company, LRMR, dropped him as a client on Wednesday.
