The Houston Texans announced Wednesday they have signed defensive end Devon Still to a reserve/future contract.
Still played for the Cincinnati Bengals from 2012 to 2014. Fans know Still as the father of 5-year-old Leah Still, who was battling stage 4 neuroblastoma during that time.
Still posted on Twitter and Instagram about signing a contract with the Texans and revealed Leah will receive her last treatment on Friday.
“Leah’s last treatment is Friday. I just signed a contract to get back to doing what I love. I would say this week is a good week!” he said.
