Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer, Harmony Samuels, has made quite the name for himself.

The London-based Christian, who has worked with gospel and mainstream artists alike, is opening up about how being raised in church influenced his career.

“It built a discipline and love for music,” said Samuels, 35, in an interview withSingersroom.

“Some of my favorite artists such as BeBe Winans, Kirk Franklin, Commissioned, and Fred Hammond have had a very [big] impact on my growth as an individual and understanding of music, which led to my passion for pop culture,” he explained.

Samuels, who produced Destiny Child singer Michelle Williams’ massive gospel hit, “Say Yes,” featuring Kelly Rowland and Beyoncé Knowles, frequently professes his love of Jesus and desire to touch lives through music.

“My purpose is to just share love with everyone and music is my form of love,” he said in a 2013 interview with The Yes! Show.
