In preparation for Sunday’s big BET “Celebration of Gospel” broadcast, an well-known artist gave followers a peek inside her world.

Grammy Award-winning gospel singer Erica Campbell got up close and personal with fans during a BET “Twitterview.”

Here are 8 things EEW Magazine learned about the 43-year-old chart-topper from her Jan. 29 Q&A, hosted on Twitter.

 1. She had a blast collaborating with “Empire” star Bryshere Yazz Gray for her “Celebration of Gospel” performance of “I Luh God.”

BET wanted collaborations and I heard he was a fan of the song so we agreed to perform together,” Erica told fans on Twitter. Even though the actor’s character can be a bit difficult and wayward on the show, that’s not the case in real life.

“[It was] great working with him. He’s super nice! Behind the scenes he was laid back relaxed & a lot of fun [while] working out our performance,” she said.

2. Erica wishes she wouldn’t have wasted so much time worrying when she first went solo.

“[I] wish I would not have worried about how things would turn out! God had me then [and] He has me now,” tweeted Erica. She has spoken frequently about her past fear of temporarily breaking away from her sister Tina Campbell of the award-winning duo “Mary Mary” to step out on her own.

But now, after such tremendous success—even winning a Grammy award—Erica’s new motto is, “No fear just faith.”
