Detroit native, Judge Greg Mathis, continues his crusade on behalf of Flint, where residents are dealing with the horrific water crisis.

The 55-year-old appeared Tuesday on Fox-TV’s “The Real” and promised to help get justice for the city.

“This weekend I was in Flint and I held a major rally and forum with some of the best lawyers in town,” said Mathis, host of the Judge Mathis reality courtroom nationally syndicated TV show.

He was at the Quinn Chapel AME on Saturday, Jan. 30, educating residents about their legal rights. Mathis was joined by Willie Gray and other attorneys from Gray’s firm to offer expert insights.

On “The Real,” while addressing a viewer and Flint resident’s question regarding what can be done about the situation, Mathis stated his specific goals and priorities as an advocate.

First, he said he wants to “try and stop the damage, because as we speak, the water is still poison and there isn’t enough bottled watered for, say a family of four, to both take baths in and use for cooking, and to drink.”
